MECL Limited Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

(1) Graduate Apprentice:-

  • Chemical - Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Chemical as a subject or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks.
  • Mechanical - B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Geophysicist - Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Geophysics / Applied Geophysics as a subject or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Geologist - Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Geology / Applied Geology as a subject or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • B.Com / BBA - B.Com / BBA / BCA with minimum 50% marks.

(2) Technician Apprentice:-

  • Chemical - Diploma in Chemical Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
  • Mechanical - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Electrical - Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Electronics & Instrumentation - Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.

(3) Trade Apprentice:- 

  • COPA - 10th Pass + ITI in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) Trade.
  • Fitter / Mechanic / Mechanic Diesel / Machinist - 10th Pass + ITI in Fitter / Mechanic / Mechanic Diesel / Machinist Trade.

MECL Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the training period. Graduate Apprentices will get Rs.12,300 per month. Technician Apprentices will receive Rs.10,900 per month. Trade Apprentices will receive Rs.10,560 (COPA) and Rs. 11,040 (Fitter/Mechanic trades) per month.
